Lime has been used as the binder in mortars, plasters, renders & paints for centuries….

Older properties built with lime mortar can suffer from damp problems.  Mostly caused by moisture in the solid walls being trapped in by modern cement render & ‘weather-proof’ paint.

Lime based render allows moisture in the walls to evaporate naturally

It is flexible & can accommodate general movement therefore reduces cracking problems.
